Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 14, I have always been focused on maintaining good health in order to live a long and healthy life. Diabetes is a disease that can have many complications on the human body if not maintained properly. Naturally, I was concerned when numbness and tingling in my arms and hands started to develop.
When the symptoms began, I was extremely concerned. For 28 years, I have been very responsible when it comes to managing my diabetes. Internally, there were a million questions going through my mind. How did this happen? How was I supposed handle this situation? Was I going to be able to do my job? I did windshield and glass replacement at the time of symptom onset, but I couldn’t work if the numbness progressed.
I attended Charlotte’s Festival in the Park. At the event I noticed a sign pertaining to numbness and tingling extremities on a banner for Dynamic Health & Pain Management. When I stopped by their booth, I was given a computer analysis of my spine which noted any areas of concern that could cause certain symptoms for an individual. Numbness and Tingling was mentioned as a possible issue for me, even though I never mentioned having that issue before the analysis.
Impressed with the findings, I took advantage of the free appointment. At this point, the only care I received from any doctor was anti-inflammatory pills that didn’t help. Dynamic Health & Pain Management was different because they told me exactly what was wrong. With a very open and active atmosphere, I have never been to a medical facility like it. It took just a few weeks and the numbness and tingling went away. I feel so much better and my body remains more stable with less blood sugar fluctuations. I am thankful for a significant improvement so soon.
