On Saturday, September 13, we’ll be at the Sunset Jazz Festival at Symphony Park (at SouthPark Mall). This year’s musical guests include Kenneth Carr and the Tigers, Robyn Springer, the Charlotte Jazz Orchestra and Adrian Crutchfield, an award-winning saxophonist and flautist who has performed with Prince, Anthony Hamilton, Lionel Richie and Young Jeezy.

About the Sunset Jazz Festival
Pride Magazine created the Sunset Jazz Festival to give back to the Charlotte community. For the past 23 years, the festival has produced great outdoor jazz concerts and other entertainment for Charlotte and surrounding areas.
The festival traditionally showcases local artists, and has featured performances of jazz groups from cities such as: Baton Rouge, Raleigh, Kansas City, Atlanta, New York and Los Angeles. The diverse audience consists of jazz enthusiasts, families and individuals from various ethnic groups who come together to have a relaxing and fun-filled day of live music.
