INTERNAL ORGAN PAIN
Internal Organ Pain Treatment in Charlotte, NC
Take the Mystery Out of Internal Organ Pain and Discomfort
Internal pain, also known as visceral pain, is a peculiar difficulty. It can be hard to pinpoint the location of the pain. There are many patterns and symptoms of discomfort from internal organs and vascular considerations, which is why it is vital to schedule an evaluation for differential diagnosis.
Typically, injury and inflammation cause organs and other soft tissue to become extremely sensitive to any sort of stimulation. It is an unfortunate situation that the vast majority of us have experienced at some point. And, more often than not, we’re not sure exactly where the pain is emanating.
Here are a few of the reasons why:
- Pain messages from internal organs are spread out, so your brain can sometimes only have a general understanding of where the pain comes from.
- These messages from internal organs are also closely connected to the autonomic system, causing symptoms like nausea, sweating, and diarrhea without you realizing they’re secondary symptoms.
- Internal organ pain, like chronic pain, alters your brain that keeps the signals of pain going, even after you’ve healed.

Whole Body Pain Testimonials
This incident didn’t just feel like a normal fall. Pain started in my shoulder and left hip. Shortly after, I went to see a spine and neurological specialist to see what was wrong. The doctors told me I would eventually be ok and recommended I have physical therapy. They also prescribed pain medication to relieve the discomfort.
As time went on, I completed the therapy and took the medicine as instructed. However, I felt worse. In the beginning, I could deal with the pain, but it eventually became unbearable. Participating in everyday life activities was impossible. Simple tasks like making the bed put a strain on my body.
Laying down one afternoon, the commercial for DHPM came on TV. I instantly thought about my boyfriend and his back pain. I brought my boyfriend in for his free consultation, and was amazed at the facility. It was then that I decided to make an appointment for myself.
During my first consultation, I found out something I never knew about my back. When I fell in 2009, I broke a vertebra in my spine. Out of all the doctors I’d been to, no one ever found the problem. Dynamic Health was the first. Dr. Matz said they were going to find the cause of the pain, and they did.
I was just released from treatment at Dynamic Health & Pain Management today. My pain is almost gone. If you’ve had back pain for a long time, you need to give ample time to allow the treatments to work. I am so thankful for the care I received from the entire staff and doctors.
Everyone knows you by name, and they treat you like a friend. I love the open floor atmosphere and the fact that the doctors are at your beck and call. They are right there by your side, the whole step of the way. Anywhere else, that would never happen. If you’re lucky, you might get ten minutes of the doctor’s attention. Thank you DHPM, for finding my cause of pain, and fixing it.”
I first heard of Dynamic Health & Pain Management through a colleague of mine. I have always been highly interested in different ways of treating the body. So, I drove from Salisbury to see Dr. Cox for major pain in my neck. I had never tried a Chiropractor, but several friends of mine had. Based off what they’ve told me, Dr. Cox’s approach to healthcare is so much different.
He really emphasizes the importance of maintaining a healthy spine, and getting to the source of the issue, something I’ve never considered.
I spent most of my time grading essay exams & papers; so naturally over time, I would develop these neck and back issues. Dr. Cox brought me relief almost instantly. I accepted the treatment plan in order to get better. Before I started, the pain was about 8 out of 10. Now, it’s completely gone. After all was said and done, I started my maintenance program, but stopped going after six months due to travel time and traffic.
In August of this year, I fell after waking up in the middle of the night. Not thinking anything of it, I went back to bed. The next morning, I couldn’t move. X-rays showed two tiny fractures on my T8 and T9 vertebras. This was an issue because my wife and I were getting ready to travel to Seattle, WA to see our grandchildren. I only get to see them on major holidays, so this trip was very special to me. The doctor gave me some pain medication and sent me home. The whole time we were on the west coast, I was in severe pain, and slept most of the time.
Upon returning home, I knew exactly where I needed to go, Dynamic Health and Pain Management. Since I resumed treatment, my pain has reduced drastically. I am now finally able to get back to running. It is my ultimate hobby, and not being able to let my feet hit the pavement for that stress relief has really troubled me.
Dynamic Health and Pain Management is different. They help you get better from the inside out. Since my accident, I have made, and will continue to make the trip from Salisbury. It is worth it to get better. It is worth it to maintain your spinal strength.”
The first time I had back pain was at 22 years old. My brother and I were doing some mechanical work and went to lift a VW Motor from the floor. It wasn’t until later that I felt the repercussions of my actions. After one week of back pain, any other mechanical activities I did, made my back ache. When I finally got the pain under control several years later, I was in the accident that changed my life.
I was lucky to be alive after a car went through a red light, T-boned me, and totaled my car. After two separate 13 week therapies of rehabilitation, I never fully recovered. I suffered from constant cycles of spasms and low back pain and it got worse over the years. I tried several Chiropractors, Doctors and Specialists; relief was temporary and limited. At my worst, I went through three consecutive weeks of back spasms and knew I couldn’t suffer anymore, something had to be done.
I had seen Dynamic Health & Pain Management’s commercial before, wrote down the information, but never called. I was sitting at home on the couch and saw the commercial again for the second time. Suffering, I wasn’t going to pass up another opportunity to see if I could get help. I was extremely impressed when I called because they were able to see me the same day. Within an hour and a half, I was walking through DHPM’s front doors. After I was greeted by name, the gave me their complete attention. I knew I had back pain before I came to DHPM, but they showed me why. Time was being put into me before I even paid them a dime. That’s real healthcare dedication to patients; you can’t find it anywhere else.
I began treatment immediately and within the first three visits I knew I was onto something. My body started to transition the other way, towards improvement. It didn’t take long for my pain to decrease by half, and even though I am still going through the treatment, I feel like a whole new man. My family and friends have noticed a complete change when I went from frowns to smiles. My quality of life is the best it’s been in over a decade.
I am so grateful for the health services, wonderful staff, and the doctors of Dynamic Health & Pain Management. Their program is completely unique and there is nothing like it. My questions were always answered, each therapy was explained in complete detail and I was never left alone. I am still improving, and it gets better and better each day. I am humbly, gratefully and utterly thankful. I truly am.”
I had been in a really bad bike accident around 30 years ago, and unknowingly dislocated my hip. That afternoon, I went to the doctor complaining of severe leg pain. After multiple leg X-Rays, nothing appeared to be wrong. Two days later, I found myself back in the hospital for surgery to have my hip put back into place.
I was complaining of pain in my leg, so that’s what the doctors looked at. Had they examined my whole body, the problem would’ve been found. Now as a result, one hip sits higher than the other, forcing me to wear special shoes to even out my stance.
From this moment on, my lifestyle was greatly affected. I have always been a very athletic person, but this injury forced physical activity to stop. Eventually, due to lack of movement, my range of motion faltered and my flexibility dwindled. As a result, my right leg got shorter, resulting in severe backaches. It was bad enough not being able to be active, but now I had to deal with pain. The only activity that really helped me was swimming. I was able to improve my range of motion and lessen the pain by being in the water.
Since I have been treating with Dynamic Health & Pain Management, my pain has stopped. On my third visit, I noticed the pain starting to go away. The care here is like no other. Everyone is so positive in providing the best care, every step of the way. I can now say I am able to sleep better, move better, and never feel like I am strained with any activities. I am no longer limited from myself.”
Due to an onset of stress, I had suffered from severe back pain. The harsh pain kept me from doing anything and everything. It made me feel exhausted constantly, and I quickly found myself having the toughest time getting out of bed in the morning. I even remember hobbling into work bent over every day.
The point at which I knew I needed help was when I actually had to lift up my legs with my hands to get in the car. I had to seriously over think every move I was going to make with my body. There were times, I’d drop something on the floor, and just leave it there. It physically hurt too much to bend over and pick it up.
I had been to an Orthopedist, Chiropractor and Physical Therapists, nothing was working. I remember visiting the Physical Therapist three times. I saw someone different each time, and on my last visit I was asked, “Ok. What do you want to do today?” Really? Do they not have a plan? Do you even know why I’m here? Let’s just say, that was the last time I ever went back there.
One night, while lying in bed, the TV Commercial for DHPM came on. So, I decided to give it a try. Sitting in the Lobby waiting to begin my free consultation, I saw Dr. Cox! It was so ironic because I didn’t know this was his office!
Instantly, I could see there was something different about this practice compared to other offices I had been to. I met with Dr. Mazal, who instantly took care of me. There was a lot of dialogue exchanged, and I truly believe he understood who I was when I left. I began the exercises/treatments and after my third visit, noticed the pain was going way.
Today, I suffer from no back pain. I thought when I retired from work; I’d have so much free time. However, I am busier now than before because my back is better! I’m busy because I can be! I am thankful for the whole staff at DHPM. It’s a good feeling when you walk into a healthcare facility, and everyone knows you by name. I’m impressed that everyone is so knowledgeable of each treatment and the effect it has on the body. Unlike my other experiences, they have road map protocols so that each person you come in contact with knows what you should be doing. There is a progressive pattern back to good health.”
